20 weeks old: November 25, 2012 Videos

Serafina, Giuliana & Edison are 20 weeks old today (7weeks adjusted).

It is never too early for a first trip to the Cheese Factory! The little ones enjoyed the sunshine and a walk around the pond. Mommy & Daddy will be enjoying the Brie.
Thank you Auntie Vanessa for the adorable Minnie & Mickey Mouse outfits!

As promised... video! This is one from last week that was up on Facebook. If you haven't already seen it, it is the little munchkins moving to the music (with a little of the standard chaos thrown in). Enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving!! November 22, 2012

Happy Thanksgiving from Matt, Emily, Edison, Giuliana & Serafina!!
This year we have had a lot to be thankful for: three healthy babies and lots of wonderful friends and family who have been so supportive and helpful getting the kids to this point.

For the Babies First Thanksgiving they celebrated the day wearing their Turkey shirts and candy corn leg warmers. Eddie had a Pilgrim hat. It was a good day for everyone, the babies were nice and calm.

Thank you to Auntie Ibu and Marika for coming over and taking our family photo!

I had fun making their shirts the other day when Eddie decided not to nap. I did the project with him strapped to me in an ErgoBaby carrier. Maybe he'll get inspired and end up a crafty little kid.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Week 19: November 18, 2012

Turned 19 weeks old on Sunday (6 weeks adjusted).

We've started taking more videos of the babies now that they are awake more and getting more active. Next week I'll try to start posting them here.

This week Mommy had a birthday on the 17th. Auntie Rachael and Uncle Clark were sweet and babysat so Mommy and Daddy could go out to dinner!
Daddy had the kids all day and Mommy went to a spa.

Everyone is continuing to grow by leaps and bounds. 0-3month clothes are becoming quickly outgrown and even some 6 month clothes are a little snug for our biggest kiddo.

Eddie has decided he really likes being carried around in an Ergo as much as possible. One day when he wouldn't nap and was being packed around, I was able to make Thanksgiving shirts for everyone- pics of those being worn with candy corn colored leg warmers coming soon.

18 Weeks Old: November 11, 2012 - Smiles

Edison, Giuliana & Serafina are 18 weeks old (5 weeks adjusted).
Thank you Aunt Kay & Uncle Wayne for the cutest embroidered shirts!

Lizzie has always been a smiley baby, but now Gigi and Eddie are also smiling and they are all smiling more interactively. Very Cute!

Grandma Kelly visited and got to spend some quality time with the bambinos.

Triplet Table Painting. The Papsans attach on top.
This week the kiddos got their very own custom triplet table. Matt made the table and I painted it for them (currently with trees, giraffe and elephant but will be adding three little monkeys another day). After feeding all three on the floor a few times, it became clear a table was the way to go- so much easier to manage especially when I am pumping while feeding! Their Baby Papasan's are safely secured and eventually holes will be cut out to hold seat belt chairs for solid food feeds.
Nap time is a work in progress. At least once a day we move them into their room for naps. Our awesome Summer Infant baby monitor comes in very handy and can even be plugged in to our TV for an even bigger view. Eddie is not so sure about napping in their room but we're hopeful he will come around soon. One of these days we will be moving them out of Mommy & Daddy's room at night.
Everyone received their first monthly Synagis shots to combat RSV. Those suckers would be about $1000 a pop without insurance. Thankfully Kaiser supports Synagis use for ex-preemies. Matt and I are getting into our cold prevention routine: lots of EmergenC, hand washing, hand sanitizer when out and about, changing shirts when we come home and not taking the kiddos out. We are also super careful not to expose ourselves to anyone with a cold, sniffles or worse. Hopefully that will be enough to get us through this first season without the kids getting too sick.

17 Weeks Old: November 4, 2012

Yesterday the trio turned 17 weeks old (4 Weeks adjusted). It was our first week not having Grandmas living with us full time. The ship is still afloat and we all had a good week.
It was a very eventful week! There was the Halloween Party at Matt's Work, the kiddo's last big outing until after RSV season. Thanks to Auntie Rachel who helped get everyone to the party.

At their Doctor's appointment all 3 had gained a ton of good weight. Gigi is now 11 lbs, Eddie is 10 lbs and Lizzie is 9 lbs. One good little eater is in the 97th percentile for weight! Their Doctor has given the go ahead to let them sleep more than 4 hours- very exciting for Mommy & Daddy!
We discovered Sofie is useful as a Paci prop.

Everyone is much more awake and having fun with play time.

Aunts Michelle & Lynora came to visit and got in time with everyone. It was really great to see them!
