Merry Christmas 2012: Babies First Christmas Day

Merry Christmas from the Barbours!

We celebrated Christmas early with Grandparents, this year on Christmas Day it was just the five of us. We had a nice quiet day with the kiddos and went for a drive at night to see the Christmas lights. 

 There was a lot of play and story time where we read favorites like Pat the Zoo and Twelve Days of Winter in Colorado.

 Mommy & Daddy enjoyed Tamales as the Barbour Grandparents do and Coffee Cake as the Berrio Grandparents do. The kids enjoyed formula and milk.

24 Weeks Old: December 23, 2012

Yesterday Serafina, Giuliana and Edison turned 24 Weeks Old. 

It was a great week. Grandma & Grandpa visited to celebrate Christmas early.

The kiddos have their first Christmas stockings hung. Fun owl themed (yay Pottery Barn Kids).

Merry Christmas Music Season!

23 Weeks Old: December 16, 2012 Hands!

Serafina, Edison and Giuliana turned 23 weeks old today (10 weeks adjusted). 

We all had an excellent week. The bubs are sleeping better every day. So so nice all around.

 

Eddie & Gigi have discovered their hands and are very excited to play with them A Lot. If only they can sub their hands for Pacis so we don't have to keep popping Pacis back in their mouths all the time (just heard one hit the floor in the kiddo's room).

The knit shoes and booties are from Uncle Andy that he got in Latvia. Thanks Andy! 

This week they received their second round of Synagis shots. Never fun, but they rallied very quickly (really only a minute of unhappiness) after getting their shots. Packing everyone and getting out of the house is getting more streamlined. Mommy and Daddy were able to stop for coffee and still arrive a couple minutes early! We also learned their weights: Gigi is 15lb 4oz, Serafina is 11lb 13oz and Eddie is 14lb 14oz.

Nonni was visiting this week. Mommy and Daddy were able to go to Daddy's work Christmas Party and also out for a date night.

5 Months Old! (22 Weeks: December 9, 2012)

Our little monkeys are 5 months old! 

It is hard to believe they are getting so big and doing so well at 22 weeks (9wks adjusted).

We are loving that they are sleeping so much longer at night. They go up to 7 hours at a time- so nice for Mommy & Daddy.

We are still working away on their birth announcements. The first wave should be going out sometime this week, but it may take us a while to complete our full list of important friends and family.

21 Weeks Old: December 2, 2012

On Sunday Eddie, Gigi and Lizzie turned 21 weeks old (8 weeks adjusted).

It was a good week! The bambinos were accepted to an early intervention program that will provide physical therapy for them and help them catch up on gross motor skills. One little reflux sufferer doesn't like to move as much as they should. Despite our best efforts two little silly kids have one strongly preferred direction to look (and a little flat head going- trying to avoid helmets!), we're trying to get them to be ambi-turners. 

20 weeks old: November 25, 2012 Videos

Serafina, Giuliana & Edison are 20 weeks old today (7weeks adjusted). 

It is never too early for a first trip to the Cheese Factory! The little ones enjoyed the sunshine and a walk around the pond. Mommy & Daddy will be enjoying the Brie.
