33 Weeks Old: February 24, 2013

Serafina, Edison & Giuliana are 33 Weeks Old!

We had our first run in with a fever last week, but Gigi is feeling much better.

Everyone is enjoying eating Sweet Potatoes.

This looks a little goofy, but is Serafina's preferred eating position some days.

All three can make Raspberry Noises.

Look, Edison CAN be serious. Sophie Giraffe makes him very serious.

The trio can all roll from Tummy to Back and Back to Tummy.

Edison weighs 21lbs 4oz. The girls aren't far behind. This means only a few more pounds left in Baby Papasans, Rock 'N Plays and their current car seat. We certainly weren't expecting to replace those so soon.

Have a Great Week!

7 months old: February 8, 2013

Giuliana, Edison & Serafina are 7 months old!
How time flies!

We got updated weights and heights with their Synagis shots on Friday.
Giuliana: 19lb 1.8oz & 25 1/2in

Serafina: 14lb 14.6oz & 24 1/2in

Edison: 20lb 6.8oz & 25 1/4in

This week first Giuliana then Serafina discovered rolling from Back to Tummy.

Edison is a strong grabber and very interested in his hands.

Serafina started creating Raspberry noises.

Everyone enjoys eating Bananas and can bring their legs up to 90 degrees.

All the playing makes for tired babies.

Have a good week!

30 Weeks Old: February 3, 2013

Giuliana, Edison & Serafina are 30 weeks old today.
We have started introducing more solid food. The babies like Avocado. It makes a fun green mess. These kids put away some food! Amazingly, the bigger babies are wearing 12 month clothes. You wouldn't guess they were preemies by their current size. Serafina is not far behind in 9 month clothes.
Serafina Avocado Faced
That would be a pile of spit up. You're welcome, Daddy.
The babies are getting stronger. This week our last to roll from Tummy to Back mastered that skill. Nobody has yet rolled from Back to Tummy but they are getting close.

Teething continues. It is loud. Despite being completely judged by the clerk at Whole Foods (they "Do NOT carry tylenol" but offered me lovely homeopathic options), we do give the kids Children's Tylenol when necessary. Otherwise, they wouldn't eat some feeds.

Grandma Margaret was visiting and helping out during Eddie's surgery and stayed to help while Matt was in Philadelphia.

During play time, we entertain the kids by dancing with/for them. While dancing in the yellow shirt, Matt sustained a kid entertaining injury. Bruised heel? Like many dancers, he suffers for his art.

Edison has discovered a new noise: Buzzing. He practices a lot.
Have a good week!

Dorie fits in the cargo area of the triplet stroller. She is not a fan.
