6 Weeks Old: August 19, 2012

Edison, Giuliana and Serafina are 6 weeks old today! It was a great week of milestones for everyone. Serafina transitioned to low flow nasal canula and moved into the isolette with Giuliana, Edison is now enjoying some space to himself. Everyone started doing exploratory breast feeding (practicing for the real deal during their enteral tube feedings). Today Giuliana's last respiratory help was removed and she is now breathing on her own (the little tube in her nose is just for feedings).

Heights and Weights: Edison 3lbs 9.7oz, 16.5 in. Giuliana 3lbs 7oz, 16.1 in. Serafina 2lbs 12.4oz, 15.2 in.

    The little munchkins get prettier and prettier (and handsomer) every day.... and just look at Giuliana's chubby little legs!!!!! Emily, you're doing a great job growing those babies!
    Can't wait to get to the pool tomorrow and update my gang of grandmas. Hugs to all.

      They are all filling out quickly. I was a pretty chubby baby... my Mom thinks that means they will be tall :)
