9 Weeks Old: September 9, 2012

Edison, Giuliana & Serafina turned 9 weeks old on September 9th. A big week of changes. Feeding tubes were all removed as the babies mastered both bottle and breast feeding- so nice to see tube free faces! The only remaining connections just monitor heart and respiration rates.

It was a very big week for Giuliana & Serafina as they spent their last days in the hospital and came home. Edison will follow them very soon. Nonni Barbour was in town visiting and got some quality triplet time in.

Edison is so bored by all the picture taking.

Maybe Gigi will be our little dancer, she's practicing with her arms for now.

Great Success! This was the day Lizzie came home.

Serafina Comes Home! September 9, 2012

Serafina came home on September 9th, at 9 weeks old. She had been all ready to go we just had to wait for her to weigh 4 lbs. One Nurse mentioned she was one of the smallest babies she had ever sent home, that is our trooper of a little peanut. She had her first car ride with her sister.

Brother Bear's spot is waiting for him, he just needs to quit having Bradies so he can come home too.

Giuliana Comes Home! September 8, 2012

Miss Giuliana came home from the hospital yesterday, exactly 2 months old. She had her first breath of fresh air outside a hospital (not being inside an isolette during transport) and her first car trip. She had a great night (such a good baby) and Matt & I even got a fair amount of sleep.

Thank You So Much to all the wonderful Kaiser Nurses & Doctors who have given her such good care during her first 9 weeks. Matt & I are very grateful for all you have done.

Serafina should be coming home today.

8 Weeks Old: September 2, 2012

Edison, Giuliana and Serafina turn 8 weeks old today!

It has been a very big week of changes for our kids. They moved from Kaiser San Francisco NICU to Kaiser Santa Rosa Intermediate Nursery. It is a step toward going home and means they are doing really well (the opportunity to move all three came up suddenly and was recommended by their Docs), but it was hard to leave all the nurses we love at Kaiser SF! We miss them a lot.

In Santa Rosa the kiddo's have their own little room. There are much less beeping machines hooked up to other babies. The babies are definitely on their way to coming home soon. Giuliana seems to be in the lead, and everyone is doing very well. Mommy & Daddy are learning new skills all the time including rapid fire diaper changes, bottle feeding and bath giving.

Today's Stats:
Edison 4lbs 9oz
Giuliana 4lbs 10oz
Serafina 3lbs 9oz

You have no idea how difficult it is to get three kiddo's to pose at once. Daddy set up his new favorite thing... the Pack 'N Play, a couple pieces may not have been used... so the kids were rolling towards each other during this shoot. Hilarity ensues.

Pre-Rolling. We had to snap this fast. A couple seconds later it turned into the shot above. We may not have a future in the Anne Geddes style Photo Business.
