Babies are now the size of Onions or the Palm of your Hand.
My Coordination has left me. I don't so much Drop things as I somehow watch food spring up and out of my hands and fly half way across the room. Most recently this has happened with: a raw egg (sorry Khuki), an English muffin leaving the toaster, an avocado and half a cantaloupe.
At my OB appointment last week my blood pressure was a little higher than we would like- not to worry, so it was time to cut back on my commitments and work was the next thing to go. I will finish up a couple project for Nan Crawford & Co at home, but I'm done going in to the office.
Our former Guest room/Office is now a blank slate waiting to be turned into the Nursery(exciting!). The Art Room has absorbed the office. We're not amazingly guest friendly anymore (our spiffy double height air mattress is all we have to offer) - but really, who except Grandmas :) will want to come and stay when the triplets arrive?
Plans are beginning for Showers both on the Central Coast and in the Bay Area. They will be held earlier than most showers. Baby registries are up at Amazon, Target and BabiesRUs.

Week 16: Avocados, Strollers and Maternity Wear
Babies are now 4-5 in long, the size of Avocados.
We are very excited, the triplets have got their fabulous Peg Perego Triplette stroller waiting for them. Thank you so much Grammie and Grandma Lynda!!
Bump watch photos for Week 16.
Maternity wear is the name of the game for me these days. All my pre-preggo clothes are packed away. Thanks to Katie for lending me maternity wear.

Week 15
Babies are the size of Naval Oranges this week.
No new appointments this week. Big event though was that my nausea finally stopped completely. So very exciting for me! If the tiredness would also end, that would be excellent.
We are starting to compile nursery ideas. It is very hard to find examples of triplet nursery set ups. For some favorite (although non triplet rooms), see http://pinterest.com/onebroodyhen/nursery-ideas/
The babies' room is painted a light greenish color that the paint guy thought looks like pistachio ice cream. I see white and coral in its future.
One appointment late next week with the Petaluma doctor.

Week 14
Babies are each about the size of a Clenched Fist.
Week 14 ended uneventfully. No doctor's appointments.
Thanks to everyone for the continuing creative triplet names!
Uncle Andy's Khloe, Kim & Kourtney are definitely a favorite.
Auntie Devin's Thing 1, Thing 2 and Thing 3 will certainly be a future Halloween costume.
We've settled on place holder names for our little peas in the pod A is Snap Pea, B is Sweet Pea and C is Sugar Pea.

Week 13: End of First Trimester!
Babies are now the size of Peaches (3 in long). Most of my clothes are quickly being packed away as they don't have a chance of fitting over me and the kiddos.
The first trimester ended with no new appointments. I am definitely eating enough to fuel our little army. (More than the minimum my nutritionist outlined and less than recommended in "the multiples bible" When You're Expecting Twins Triplets or Quads. 4,000 calories a day is slightly ridiculous in my opinion.)
We've been playing with fun temporary names to replace A, B & C and have gotten lots of great suggestions from family. It is harder than you might think to find catchy, gender-neutral triad names. Some of our favorites:

- Eenie, Meenie and Minie
- Adorable, Cute and Beautiful (Lynda - Grandmother name TBD)
- OMG: Olly, Molly and Golly (Aunt Michelle)
- Huey, Dewey and Louie (This is the go-to of a few people)
